Hallo!

Alles in allem: Eine lohnende Investition!

Danke an alle für die Tips! :bye:

Hello,

My DVBViewer doesn't "talk" on the right way too the CI Twinhan Mantis 2033

everything seems to be regonised;

the receiver ;

The Alphacrypt ;

the smartcard with number

no double accupied IRQ's

and yet there is no descrambling

for 1 week i happily used the Mantis card and so i know it must work.

for an unknown reason now I only see the "free" channels.

In the Netherlands you have some free test channels and the rest are scrambled too descramble with your smartcard and hardware. After 5 clean installation; newest BDA drivers; MCE CI tool; drivers from twinhan;digital rising.net and reading the threads, i'm really running out of options.

Can please someone, and offcause the programmer, give usefull info

The supportfile en other output are enclosed

Best regards

Marsch

thnxs for the quick respons, i've used transedit before for finding my channels which was never a problem.

Unfortunately rescanning and updating does not help. The preview doesn't work either, only just for the " free" channels.

I can't find your modification in transedit to help with the " jump" for descrambling. the box to switch " encrypted" doesn't do anything. I've read the manual/

I'm looking forward to more usefull tips.

TransEdit cannot represent scrambled transmitters with Prewview.

However, you can per transfer by xyz.ini or channels dat into the PRO..

@ Tobi7185

Engelbert; Goodafternoon,

I don't really understand you , there stands no xyz.ini file on my computer and the channels.dat file in the DVBViewer directory features a lot off numbers/symbols/letters. Must i change manually a range symbols?

How can this solve the real problem. Everything seems to work but there's no descrambled view.

I'm now going to search on the net how to test the alphacrypt or smartcard. The cam menu works fine with even the view off the number of the smartcard

TransEdit shows all found transmitters, free and/or scrambled. One can sort these at own discretion.

One then can transfer her directly to DVBViewer (context), when Name.ini store someplace and import in the DVBViewer or when channels.dat store someplace and copy into the DVBViewer dirctory.

For the scrambled transmitters it requires a subscription with a smartcard of the provider.

Where do you live?

Please post some more information:

Hereby the information which is also on the 14th Sept postal with the problem.

you ment with XYZ.ini a random name; stupid off the "dutch"men! :excl:

I have an subscription wit a smartcard of the provider. Our provider is @Home in Tilburg Netherlands.

The same problem is also with DVBViewer GE. Changing to powerdvd7 doesn't work either.

Enjoy the weekend

Unfortunately, your settings are yet like before.

You need a good video decoder and audio decoder in DirectX, I had described.

And you need a channels.dat with the transmitters which you can receive. free and srambled.

One can make with TransEdit and copy into the DVBViewer this one.

Ask your provider in Tilburg for a current transponder list for TransEdit if cable.ini - cableQ256.ini (standard) i dirextory Transponders doesn't suffice - an read rhe TransEdit-Manual careful.

Does the original software of TwinHan work with your card, then?

Does the original software of TwinHan work with your card, then?

from 5 weeks till last week i did make new transponderlists with the latest frequenties and transedit still finds them. my provider uses a variation on the irdato scrambling method.

I'll build the new list and make a new channels.dat and try more decoders. But if you get the message: " your not entitled to watch this program" (which is false) How can than another videodecoder help or override this message? My feeling says that these are 2 seperate things

DVBViewer worked 6 weeks ago for 1 week. Everything functioned.

THe original software of twinhan never worked for me in a correct way. Only the free channels were viewable. I've read in dutch threads (gather.tweakers) that twinhan software is a problem and they made the switch to DVBViewer or other software.

i'll keep you posted

Your CAM (which one ?) the special version of Irdeto understands according to the provider and the channels.dat is correct (of TransEdit to DVBViewer), your XP seems to have serious system faults if!

Try an new installation of XP on another partition.

Unfortunately, I more cannot help.

My cam is an Alphacrypt classic 3.08; (blue label)

I've made a new installation /a renewed the partition / formatted / mbr / etc.

installed DVBViewer pro en GE and tried several codecs.

There is still no change in the situation. Everything functions except the descrambling.

I still can try the Beta version and install a new XP on a D: partition but i don't know if this gonna help.

hereby the supporttool for the current situation; one for DVBViewer Pro and 1 for GE.

How can I test if the alphacrypt is corrupt?

I don't see any video and audio decoders in your transedit.ini (PRO).

The GE also hasn't typed any decoders in.

I don't know test software for CAMs.

Ask your provider for the right version.

Also look

Perhaps you can lend a card for testing?
